We're the Vogls

We're a family of four with acreage and a 1920s lakeside former railroad section house in renovation near Ely, MN.

We live near the BWCAW - a vast wilderness in Northern Minnesota - just about as far North as you can get!

The Little Forest is a blog where we document living, working, playing, and homesteading in the Northwoods.

Things we write about: nature, art, design, camping, gardening, homesteading, raising kids, Halloween, and Ely Minnesota.
